After all these years i have just worked out what Kelso means in Gaelic, it translates to ''Holiday in Holland Scottish style!!   What a brilliant run.   If you haven't done it before then you need to go, honestly, all those die hards who did the HiH runs well this is the same.   Everything on site, excellent facilities, no extra costs for the Custom show or the evening do's, £15 the lot and with Bad Manners thrown in and a couple of other bands to.   The competion in the Custom show was extremely fierce but Stevie Marsh won 'Best Vintage with his French LD, well done Steve.

The journey there and back had its own variety of incidents but nothing more than any other run that we have all been on from punctures to running out of fuel but all in all we got there in good time and form.   But thats not the story;  The story and the weekend belongs to Johnno - end of.   What a great site it was to see him riding again and he never stopped smiling all weekend.  Everytime you saw him he was beaming from ear to ear (except when he was having a 'Kit Check'.   Its been a long road for him and i hope it was all worth the wait and patience because to see him at Kelso was everything.   All the best Johnno from us all and remember - SLOWLY SLOWLY ( but not as slow as a LD!!!!)
